What Blogs are for....
So, I started this blog to show off my creative stuff like photos. Well, after that class ended I found I had a lot to say. Now I've had more classes and less to say but I wrote huge intellectual stuff. (insert egghead picture here)
Yet, I somehow think if I were to even post one of my small expo-zay's (or however it's spelled) it would be quickly dismissed. I think people like creativity more that intellectual arguments true?

Well, are you posting for the people or are you posting for yourself, OR are you posting for one then the other OR both? What I have found, after blogging for a good while now, is that people are attracted to strange things. Stuff I'm pretty proud of or would like public input on, are generally ignored or at least left without comment. Little stuff, or stuff that might be long thoug seemingly inconsequential get billions of comments!
No matter what, writing about everything from my breakfast to childhood stories, to dreams and rambling insomnia driven free writing, has improved my overall writing IMMENSLY. Especially improving my ability to organize long drawn out intellectual exposés (which isn't necessarily the proper word), into an understandable format.
I say post what you like and the right people will get it/you.
Troof time:
The most popular blogs are the funny ones, and the informative ones (especially if the tell people how they're supposed to live, be happy, be a mom, homeschool, or be productive).
However, there are also entire groups of blogs based soley on the mutual interest of philosophy or theology. They aren't for the faint of heart (I've read a few, the interaction and argument level is very high in these groups), but they are out there.
So the question is, who is your audience?
I restate my question: Who are you writing for? Are you even writing for the audience you already have? I believe assuming you even have an audience is baseless. I'm much more your friend than someone invensted in the performances you put-up onto your blog.
Blog on bro.
Yeah, I'd say my audience is family and friends, so you guys could put up with a lot of crap I'd just put on here :D
